This is why hiring an experienced car accident attorney if you've been injured in a car crash. At TWWHB, we work hard and fast to gather evidence and “protect the proof.”

QUESTION:

After a car accident, how do you protect the proof?

ANSWER:

Here at TWWHB , we like to say, after the crash, “Protect the proof.” Now a lot of people understand that after an accident, you should go get checked out, right. You need to make sure you have any injuries documented, and also make sure that you understand the extent of your injuries, because sometimes they don't show up for hours or days later. But there's another type of evidence that's equally important. That evidence can be the photographic or video footage of the accident.

Now sometimes this can be from witnesses that were around at the time. Sometimes it can be from dash cam footage, and sometimes it can be from the surveillance footage of businesses that were located around where the accident happened. Again, getting that evidence can be really helpful for your claim. And not a lot of people realize that they can get that evidence. So, one thing you can do is to hire an attorney and they can send out preservation letters to ensure that you get the footage and that it's preserved in case you can need it later on.

Remember, if you're in an accident, after the crash, protect the proof.
