Recovery of Property Damage in a Car Crash Case

Recovery of Property Damage in a Car Crash Case

In this Legal Minute Video, TWWHB partner, Keith Weidner, will address a question we receive often in car crash cases.  We frequently find clients sometimes hesitate to contact us about a car crash case because their primary focus at the moment is getting their car repaired and getting back to work and their daily routine—even though they may be feeling pain and trying to work through it—and they fear an attorney will take his or her fee out of the money they need to repair their vehicle.  When we take on a car crash case at TWWHB, we focus primarily on your personal injuries and your recovery from those injuries.  While we often assist on the property damage side and help you get money to repair your vehicle, we do not take any fee out of your property damage recovery, only the recovery you receive for your personal injuries, if any.

Keith has helped numerous car accident clients hold the insurance company responsible for their damages and injuries accountable.  We have included the complete script from Keith's video below.  If you or someone you know has been injured in a car crash and may be hesitant to contact an attorney for fear of being unable to repair their vehicle, do not wait to contact one of our experienced personal injury attorneys for a free, no-cost, no-obligation consultation to discuss your case and learn your rights.

Question:

In a car crash case, will my attorney's fee come out of the money I get to fix my vehicle?

Answer by TWWHB Partner, Keith Weidner:

Sometimes we're contacted about property damages, and the clients express some reservation about paying of people, or money, to repair the vehicle.  So, if you would like to retain us to help you with your car crash case, do know that we are only representing you for your personal injuries.  That means damages to your personal vehicle, and recovery for your vehicle, goes directly to you.  We do not take a fee for that.
